Our Team
Sean Dessaix is an authorised financial planner, beginning his journey as a financial planner in 2000. His passion for quality advice led him to CBA, where Sean coached financial planners across Australia, elevating the quality advice standard. He since held senior roles in advice compliance, at IOOF (now Insignia) and Shaw and Partners. Sean has seen the full spectrum of financial advice—from the exemplary to the cautionary. What’s remained constant is his belief that every Australian deserves access to high-quality, trustworthy financial advice.
Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning), GRCI qualified from the Australian Compliance Institute and passed the mandatory National Advisor Exam in 2021. That belief is what inspired the creation of Imperium Financial Planning .
